- *Confirmed engine light illuminated and rough running symptom. Scanned engine control module and found multiple faults for cylinder #3 misfire. Performed ignition test plan. #3 ignition coil is dropping spark. Spark plugs are due every 80k. Carfax shows no history of replacement. Spark plugs are over 40k past due. – Recommend new spark plugs and new #3 ignition coil.

- *Engine light not currently illuminated and engine is runinng well at this time. Scanned engine control module and found stored fault for "the valve for crankcase ventilation has a malfunction. The actuator is blocked". This is a common fault on these engines caused by the crankcase vent valve's (PCV valve/oil separator) internal diaphragm sticking shut. Performed test plan. The crankcase vent valve (oil separator) is currently functioning, however, if it's internal diaphragm sticks closed again, it will set an active fault and engine light. Stored fault cleared. Crankcase vent valve is serviced as a kit which includes surrounding hoses. – Recommend installing new crankcase vent valve kit now, or wait to see if fault returns and schedule repair a that time.

- *Confirmed symptom. Battery tested weak on load test. Alternator output is testing within specification. Carfax does no show when last battery was replaced. – Recommend installing new primary vehicle battery.

- *Confirmed a front end noise when going over bumps. Visual inspection found multiple worn components includes torn lower ball joint boots with dry joints, cracked/split lower control arm bushings and tearing seeping axle outer cv boots. All were from excessive play and noise during shakedown. Noise may be coming from one or more of these components, or possibly from front strut mounts. – Diagnostic time required to strap microphones along front suspension components, test drive and isolate source of front end noise.
- *Confirmed minor noise when braking. Noise is produced from brake pad material contacting rotors. Noise may resolve on its as pads continue to wear down. Currently front brake pads are still at 5mm and rears are at 9mm and all are functioning correctly. – Only way to ensure noise is alleviated is to replace all brake pads and rotors.
