    • *Confirmed engine light illuminated and rough running symptom. Scanned engine control module and found active misfire faults on cylinders #1 and #2. Moved coils to different cylinders and misfire faults were set for those cylinders. Engine is from a salvage yard (yellow marker written on it in several places) and ignition coils look old/original. – Recommend replacing all ignition coils and spark plugs.
    • SPARK PLUGS & COILS – Remove & Replace – ALL
    • Remove and Replace components as required to access and install materials, and/or perform needed service. Re test and verify repair as required. Perform final road test where applicable. 36 MONTH FREE REPLACEMENT ON BATTERY – DOES NOT COVER LABOR

    • *Confirmed symptom. Multiple overheating faults stored into the engine computer. Expansion tank was empty upon arrival. Topped up the coolant and pressure tested the cooling system. With the system under pressure found the thermostat assembly actively leaking coolant – Replace thermostat, clear faults, and road test to determine if any faults return and AC should begin blowing cold at that time.*

    • *Struts and shocks are currently function and show no evidence of leakage. All 4 bump foam bump stops are deteriorated/crumbling. Not a danger, but may be prone to noise. Replacement requires removal and disassembly of struts assemblies and is quite time consuming. – Will monitor.

    • Connect flush equipment to remove existing fluid. Additional flush and cleaning chemicals may be added to assist in cleaning system contamination. Fill system fluid(s) to proper capacity with new fluid. Fluid additives and/or conditioners may be added to system. Leak test vehicle system. Perform final road test where applicable.

    • AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION – A series of tests and a comprehensive inspection of your vehicles Air Conditioning System performed by a qualified, licensed and experienced technician that knows your BMW. Temperature readings are measured at A/C vent to ensure system is cooling to specification. A visual inspection of the a/c system is performed. Freon is recovered from system and the level documented. Once system is holding vacuum, Freon is refilled to factory specification utilizing the recovered Freon. Our provided Freon contains a colorless UV dye that will aid in tracing future leaks. If any leaks or failed components are present, an estimate of necessary repairs for the AC system will be provided. IF A/C STARTS TO BLOW WARM WITHIN 90 DAYS OF SERVICE, THERE WILL BE A $75.00 FOLLOW UP CHARGE TO RE-EVALUATE THE A/C SYSTEM (PLUS THE COST OF ANY ADDITIONAL FREON REQUIRED).

    • *Topped off coolant level in expansion tank and pressure tested system. Active coolant leak found from plastic thermostat at assembly and the plastic crossover pipe which connects it to the water pump. – Recommend new thermostat assembly and coolant crossover pipe, bleed system and retest.
    • WATER PIPE – Remove & Replace – Water Pump to Thermostat – Includes R&R thermostat assembly – Includes bleeding system
