*Coolant level in expansion tank was full. Pressure tested system and saw a drip beneath engine bay. Traced leak to plastic Y connector that terminates 3 hoses (lower radiator hose, lower expansion tank hose and water hose). Rubber section of lower radiator hose appears replaced, but may be a universal hose as the ends are secured with worm clamps at Y connector and hoses quickconnect end, instead of the factory constant tension clamps. – Recommend new OE plastic Y fitting, all 3 coolant hoses and constant tension clamps.
*Could not duplicate symptom. Did feel vehicle vibrations at idle due to worn motor mounts, albeit minor. Symptom may increase in severity once the whether warms. – No repair recommended at this time.

*Confirmed multiple warning indicators are illuminated at this time. TPMS warning illuminated, engine light illuminated, engine oil service overdue message, and coolant level low, top up immediately message on the dash. Scanned the vehicle for faults. Multiple faults stored into many system. Recommend starting with replacement of the water pump, clearing faults, and road testing the vehicle to see what faults return and are currently present.* *Completed cooling system repairs, cleared faults and road tested the vehicle. During the road test the engine light and EGS (Transmission warning) illuminated and the transmission slipped when shifting. Scanned the transmission computer for faults. Faults present for P173500 Position sensor for clutch 1, electrical error. Checked the fluid level and verified the fluid level was full. Performed diagnostic test plan per service bulletin (GROUP 35, NO. 20-37) and found component -related deviation in the transmission mechatronics unit. TSB states if this fault stores with a symptom occurring, then replacement of the mechantronics unit is recommended according to the repair manual – Replace failed mechantronics.*
*Confirmed symptom. Coolant level low warning illuminated, coolant reservoir was empty upon arrival. Topped up the coolant and pressure tested the cooling system. With the system under pressure found the water pump leaking coolant down the front of the engine – Recommend replacement of the water pump.*

Remove, Rotate and Computer Spin Balance 4 tires. Visual inspection of tire condition and tire wear pattern(s). Set tire pressure to proper inflation. Re-torque wheel lug nuts to manufacturers torque specifications. Perform final road test where applicable.
**Warnings for active lane assist / ACC/ Brake Guard malfunction illuminated. – Recommend taking vehicle Audi dealer for diagnostic and repair, as only they have the required equipment to calibrate these systems.
