No further repairs recommended.* AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTION – A series of tests and a comprehensive inspection of your vehicles Air Conditioning System performed by a qualified, licensed and experienced technician that knows your BMW. Temperature readings are measured at A/C vent to ensure system is cooling to specification. A visual inspection of the a/c system is performed. Freon is recovered from system and the level documented. Once system is holding vacuum, Freon is refilled to factory specification utilizing the recovered Freon. Our provided Freon contains a colorless UV dye that will aid in tracing future leaks. If any leaks or failed components are present, an estimate of necessary repairs for the AC system will be provided. IF A/C STARTS TO BLOW WARM WITHIN 90 DAYS OF SERVICE, THERE WILL BE A $75.00 FOLLOW UP CHARGE TO RE-EVALUATE THE A/C SYSTEM (PLUS THE COST OF ANY ADDITIONAL FREON REQUIRED).

Scanned the vehicle for faults and found faults present for right front wheel speed sensor, no signal. Check for power at the sensor and found good power with no output – Replace failed wheel speed sensor.*

*Confirmed symptom. Checked power at the horns and found no power. Traced wires from the horns the the FEM module. Found the 15 amp fuse in the module good. Traced Wiring to the horn contact at the storing wheel and found the horn button was not making good contact. After several attempts to sound the horn, eventually restored power to the horns – No further repairs recommended at this time.*

*Confirmed engine light illuminated. No drivability symptom experienced on test drive. Scanned engine control module and found intermittent fault for "fuel/air mixture too rich" and permanent fault for "Diagnostic module for fuel tank ventilation system micro leak". Cleared faults and they have not yet returned, but eventually will. The Fuel Tank ventilation system test plan requires diagnostic equipment that only the BMW dealer carries. There is also an 15yr extended voluntary recall of the evap system test module, that may be covered under this fault. – Recommend taking to BMW dealer for testing and repairs.
